December 27, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7651 Park Place Boulevard about 1:50 a.m. today.

The identity of the victim, 48, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a bar at the above address and found a man unresponsive in the parking lot near the entrance to the bar. He had been shot and was pronounced deceased by paramedics.

Witnesses told officers an argument and fight broke out inside the bar and ended in a shooting outside the business. An unknown suspect, described only as a Hispanic male in his 20s or 30, shot the victim multiple times and then fled the scene.
