December 27, 2022 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found after a fire was extinguished at 910 Lehman Street about 8:55 a.m. on Sunday (December 25).

The identity of the victim, 66, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Persad and Detective L. Gonzales reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department personnel responded to a fire at an apartment at the above address. The victim was found deceased inside.

Paramedics transported a male in a neighboring apartment to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

There were no immediate signs of foul play and the investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
