December 27, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9100 West Bellfort Avenue about 2:35 p.m. on Saturday (December 24).

The identity of the deceased male, 71, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer C. Song reported:

The male (deceased driver) was driving a white Toyota Tacoma eastbound at the above address. For unknown reasons, the driver did not maintain a single lane and struck a silver Toyota Tacoma also traveling eastbound. The driver of the white Toyota Tacoma then lost and drove onto the sidewalk and through shrubs where it came to a final rest in the driveway of a business at 9501 West Bellfort Avenue. Paramedics transported the driver to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.

The driver of the silver Toyota Tacoma was not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
