December 12, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8100 Bissonnet Street about 4:55 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 11).

The identity of the male victim, 53, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer F. Serna reported:

The victim was driving a white Hyundai Sonata and turning north onto Brae Acres Road when his vehicle was struck by an orange Toyota Scion traveling westbound at a very high rate of speed. The Toyota then struck a pole and a curb.

Paramedics pronounced the driver of the Hyundai deceased at the scene. The male driver, 18, of the Toyota and one of his passengers were transported to an area hospital. No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is continuing.
