April 14, 2022 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 7200 Avenue N about 11 a.m. on November 30, 2021.  

The suspect, Dalessandro Bou, 18, is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in  the 176th State District Court.  A booking photo of Bou, who is in custody on unrelated charges, is attached to this news release.  

He is accused in the death of David Cuadrado, 18.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:

Officers responded to a report of a deceased male, later identified as Mr. Cuadrado, lying in a grassy area near the above address.  Cuadrado had suffered at least one gunshot wound.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased.

Further investigation identified Bou as the suspect in this case. The Harris County District Attorney's Office was consulted and Bou was subsequently charged for his role in Cuadrado's death.  Bou is currently in custody in the Harris County Jail on unrelated felony charges.  

At this time, the department does not believe there is a continuous threat to the general public.
