Suspect Arrested, Charged in Woman's Death at 13255 Fondren Road

September 29, 2021 - Charges have been filed against a suspect in the death of a woman at 13255 Fondren Road about 2 a.m. on September 5.  

The suspect, Willie Brown (b/m, 48), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court.  A 2019 booking photo of Brown is attached to this news release.  Brown is currently in custody in the Fort Bend County Jail on unrelated charges and is awaiting transfer to the Harris County Jail.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Osborn and N. Henderson reported:  

On September 9, Mrs. Ashley Guillory, 37, was reported missing to HPD.  Missing Persons Unit investigators and homicide detectives opened a preliminary investigation.  The investigation determined Guillory was killed in the early morning hours of September 5 in a motel room at the above address and Brown was identified as the suspect in the case.  

On Tuesday (September 28), HPD homicide detectives located skeletal remains in Fort Bend County.  The remains are believed to be those of Mrs. Guillory.  However, positive identification is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

Brown was charged today (Sept. 29) for his role in the incident.
