September 27, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8210 Scott Street about 4 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 26).

The victim, Alfred Harris, 29, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective A. Dudley reported:

Witnesses stated that Mr. Harris was shot while standing in the parking lot with a group of people at the convenience store at the above address.  The witnesses reported that a white Dodge Charger drove by the store and one person inside the car rolled down a window and then fired multiple shots at the group.  Harris was struck multiple times.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased.  No other persons were struck by gunfire.
