September 08, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3100 Blalock Road about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday (September 7).  

The victim is identified as Gerardo Abadie, 40.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:  

HPD patrol officers, along with Houston Fire Department paramedics, responded to a report of a person down at the above address and found the victim, later identified as Mr. Abadie, unresponsive in the driver's seat of a vehicle parked at the intersection of Blalock Road and Kempwood Road.  Paramedics determined Abadie had suffered at least one gunshot wound to his lower body.  

Paramedics transported Abadie to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
