October 26, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3200 Collingsworth Street about 5:45 p.m. on Monday (October 25).  

The identity of the male victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Reinoso and Officer A. Mares reported:  

The victim was operating a green Yamaha motorcycle westbound near the above address and failed to stay in a single lane of traffic.  The motorcycle then struck a tree on the north side of the sidewalk.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.  

No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.  The investigation is continuing.
