Incident at 8039 Boone Road
September 8, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8039 Boone
Road about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 7).
The victim, Herman Newhouse, 32, of 8039 Boone
Road #1211, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced
dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L. A. Flores and
Officer T. Cunningham reported:
Officers responded to a shooting and found the
victim dead. Investigators were able to obtain a description of
four black male suspects and a vehicle through witness statements.
Two suspects are believed to be 23 to 24 years of age, approximately
6 feet tall, short black hair, muscular build, clean shaven, wearing
white polo shirts and black pants. The third suspect is described
as 19 to 20 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall,
short black hair, medium build, clean shaven, wearing a black
pullover shirt and black pants. The fourth suspect is described
as 19 to 20 years of age, 6 feet 2 inches tall, shoulder length
black hair combed back and wearing a black
pullover shirt. The suspects were in a white vehicle with a license
plate with the last three numbers of 472.
