October 18, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 847 Dolly Wright Street about 8:40 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 17).

The victim, Nomeshia Addison, 27, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Merino and C. Johnson reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and learned that two females were shot at by two unknown males.  One of the women was shot in the lower back and transported to a hospital.  The other female was not injured. 

The females stated the suspects drove by in a black sedan and fired multiple shots at them.  At this time, there is no known motive in the shooting.
