October 4, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7400 Avenue P about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 3).

The victim, Jose Meza, 18, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. 

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers I. Rios-Hernandez and A. Merino reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call near train tracks at the above address and learned a man (Mr. Meza) had been shot multiple times.  Paramedics transported Meza to the hospital.

There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
