November 04, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3901 Old Spanish Trail about 10:05 a.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 3).

The identity of the victim, 27, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found the victim unresponsive in the parking lot.  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.

Detectives learned a black male suspect armed with a gun in his hand approached the victim.  An altercation occurred between the two males and the suspect shot the victim.  The suspect then ran to a dark blue Chevrolet Cobalt (with paper plates) parked behind the business and fled the scene in the vehicle.
