May 5, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 7232 Dahlia Street about 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday (May 5).  

The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee, Jr. and A. Graf II reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head and neck area.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital.  

Family members of the victim stated he told them on the phone the shooting happened during a confrontation with a possible burglary suspect.
