Investigation into Man's Death at 8200 Southwest Freeway
March 16, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 8200 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road about 12:10 p.m. on Monday (March 15).
The victim suffered apparent stab wounds and possibly a gunshot wound. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers were called to the above address and found the victim deceased inside a motel room. He had been stabbed, possibly shot, and dismembered.
Detectives learned the victim arrived with a Hispanic male and a female and went to the room. At some point, the victim drove the female from the location and then returned. Later, he and the other male were inside the motel room when three Hispanic males and a different female arrived. The four newcomers went into the room and then were seen leaving along with the original male.
The original male left in a blue Hyundai sedan. The three Hispanic males and the female left in a large, dark-colored SUV.
