March 8, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11300 Sandpiper Drive about 4:40 p.m. last Friday (March 5).

The identity of the victim, 63, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Henderson and P. Pak reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address after witnesses reported hearing several gunshots.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim lying on the embankment of a bayou.  He had suffered apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased.

There are no known suspects at this time.
