March 4, 2021 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 501 Greens Road about 5:20 a.m. today (March 4).  

The identity and cause of death of the male are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and C. Sharp reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after a male was found deceased and lying in the eastbound lanes of the roadway.  He had abrasions to his face and head.  HPD Vehicular Crimes Division officers initially responded to the scene and conducted a preliminary investigation. 

Due to the nature of the male's injuries, investigators believe he was not struck by a vehicle.  The investigation is pending his cause of death.
