Investigation into Fatal Shooting of Man Found at 9422 Harwin Drive
March 2, 2021 - Houston police have learned the death of a man found at 9422 Harwin Drive about 3:30 a.m. on February 14 has been ruled a homicide.
An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified the victim as John Usifo Olrunsog Oghayei, 22.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Sharp and E. May reported:
Officers responded to a person down call and located Mr. Oghayei unresponsive in the street at the above address. Paramedics pronounced him deceased.
During an initial scene investigation, it was believed Oghayei was the victim of a hit-and-run crash. Members of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences arrived at the scene and determined Oghayei had sustained a gunshot wound.
