June 21, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 9700 Homestead Road about 5:40 p.m. on Sunday (June 20).

The victim, 24, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant D. Solis and Officer A. Alobaidi reported:

The victim was speaking to an individual for several minutes in a gas station parking lot at the above address.  Two suspects were also at one of the gas pumps nearby.  When the victim drove out of the parking lot, the two suspects began firing shots at him, striking him in both arms.  The victim came to a stop on the street and then fled on foot, with one suspect chasing him for a short distance. 

Both suspects, described only as black males, then fled the location in a silver BMW SUV.  Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital.
