June 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1350 Greens Parkway about 12:40 a.m. on Monday (May 31).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Flores and A. Ferrell reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address.  Upon arrival, they learned a verbal altercation between two groups of males in the complex common area escalated into the victim and suspect exchanging gunfire.

The victim was struck in the shoulder.  Paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The unknown suspect fled the scene.
