June 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2151 South Kirkwood Road about 11:55 a.m. last Friday (May 28).

The victim is identified as Xavier Dominique Shelvin, 26.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Mr. Shelvin was shot multiple times in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address.  He and a known male suspect got into an argument over a vehicle.  The argument escalated into a shooting, resulting in Shelvin’s death.  The shooter was questioned by detectives.  No charges have been filed at this time, pending further investigation.
