July 26, 2021 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 111 Travis Street about 3 p.m. on Saturday (July 24).

The victim, Stacy Gouty, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective E. Martinez reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the above address following a report a man was found deceased in Buffalo Bayou.  The man was removed from the water and identified as Mr. Gouty, who had been reported missing the day before (July 23).

Gouty's cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The investigation is continuing.
