Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9717 North Houston Rosslyn
July 23, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of five additional individuals at 9717 N. Houston Rosslyn that occurred about 8:40 p.m. on Thursday (July 22).
One of the victims, Jesus Meza, 25, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Five other victims, 3 males and 2 females, were all transported to area hospitals. One female is in critical condition, the other four victims are in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective A. Brock reported:
Officers responded to a reported shooting at a restaurant at the above address. Upon arrival, they learned multiple people had been shot and transported to area hospitals.
There is no known motive in this incident.
