Investigation into Shooting at 806 Maxey Road

July 9, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 806 Maxey Road that occurred about 6:40 p.m. on Thursday (July 8).

The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers H. Martinez and A. Johnson reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at a Houston Fire Department station at 675 Maxey Road and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks.  Subsequent investigation revealed the male had been shot in a business parking lot across the street in the 800 block of Maxey Road.  The victim stated he was in the passenger side of a vehicle driving through the shopping center when the suspect shot at the vehicle.  The suspect, described only as a white male, fled on foot in an unknown direction.  The driver of the vehicle drove the victim to the nearby fire station for aid.  The male was then transported to an area hospital.
