July 06, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the death of a male found at 8603 Almeda Genoa Road about 2:50 a.m. on Sunday (July 4).  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Brown and K. Fregia reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a call from a passing motorist of a person lying in the area of the above address.  Officers arrived and found the victim near the entrance of a cemetery gate.  He appeared to have suffered blunt force trauma.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
