July 06, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7214 Seville Street about 4:50 p.m. last Friday (July 2).  

The victim, Ivory Norris, Jr., 18, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives L Thornton and L. Castellanos reported:  

Mr. Norris was standing outside his residence at the above address when a white vehicle of unknown make and model drove by.  Immediately after, an unknown male suspect exited the front passenger seat and shot Norris multiple times.  The suspect then got back into the vehicle and fled the scene in an unknown direction.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Norris to the hospital.  

There is no suspect description at this time.
