July 06, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 50 Casa Grande Drive about 11:35 p.m. on Sunday (July 4).  

The victim, Marcos A. Oropeza, 27, was transported to an area hospital in critical, but stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers D. Crandall and J. Blum reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Oropeza in the driver's seat of a vehicle.  He had suffered gunshot wounds to the right arm and underarm area.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Oropeza to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
