January 27, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 700 Fidelity Street about 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday (January 26).  

The victim, Gregory Wiltz, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Lamont and L. Lange reported:  

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Wiltz deceased inside his vehicle.  He had been shot multiple times.  A preliminary investigation indicated Wiltz went to the location to meet an unknown male and was subsequently shot and killed. 

Several unknown persons were seen running from the scene and fleeing in two vehicles of unknown make and model.
