February 23, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5050 Sunflower Street about 6:15 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 22).

The victim, 29, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer M. Deleon reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.  

Bystanders stated the victim was with a group of people moments before the shooting happened.  The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene.  Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where he underwent surgery.
