February 11, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man found at 300 East Delz Street about 9:45 p.m. on Thursday (February 10).  

The victim, Tyler Glenn Stephens, 27, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition with life-threatening wounds.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Jimenez and Detective T. Andrade reported: 

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a man lying in the street at the above address and found Mr. Stephens with gunshot wounds.  According to witnesses, a vehicle stopped in the middle of the street and Stephens was pulled out of the vehicle by an unknown person and left in the street.  The unknown person then fled the scene in the vehicle.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Stephens to the hospital.
