February 9, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 6200 Telephone Road about 9:05 p.m. on Saturday (February 6).  

The identity of the deceased victim, in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Russow and L. Patterson reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a strip center parking lot at the above address.  Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing two males running from the area.  The victim was found deceased in the driver's seat of a vehicle.  A second male was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the side of the building.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital.  

Further investigation and evidence determined that another male ran from the scene and appeared to be limping form a right leg injury, possibly a gunshot wound.
