February 8, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 8701 Hammerly Boulevard about 8:15 p.m. on Sunday (February 7).  

The victim, Jorge Andrade, 34, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer K. Saulsberry reported:  

Mr. Andrade was stabbed by an unknown Hispanic male after Andrade confronted the male for inappropriately touching his wife as she walked up the stairs to their apartment.  HFD paramedics transported Andrade to the hospital with a stab wound to the upper chest.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
