February 2, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 10414 Richmond Avenue that occurred about 5:30 a.m. today.  

The victim, Tracy Taylor, 56, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives C. Brannen and A. Huerta reported:  

Ms. Taylor stopped at a gas station at the above address and was walking through the parking lot when she was shot.  A witness reported an unknown suspect got out of a parked, black Chevrolet Impala and fired shots at a separate vehicle.  The witness believes Taylor was not the intended target of the gunfire.  Taylor was transported by private vehicle to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
