February 1, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the wounding of a male at 9510 Beechnut Street that occurred about 8:10 p.m. on Friday (January 29). 

The victim, Damion Wooten, 18, was treated and released at the scene.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers M. Althaus and A. Ruben reported:

Mr. Wooten was panhandling at the above address when a vehicle drove by and the suspect fired multiple shots at him.  Wooten suffered a graze wound to the upper back.  

At this time there is no known suspect or vehicle description.
