December 28, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 5500 North Braeswood Boulevard about 9:50 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 24).

The victim, 19, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives V. Habukiha and C. Brown reported:

The victim was riding in a vehicle in an apartment complex at the above address when she suffered a gunshot wound to the face.  The driver of the vehicle drove the victim to 5501 Beechnut Street where she was then transported to the hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics.  The driver and two other persons inside the vehicle were not injured.

At this time, there is no known suspect or motive in the shooting.
