December 17, 2021 - Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect vehicle believed to be connected to the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of a woman at 801 Country Place Drive about 11:50 a.m. on September 19.  

Surveillance video of the vehicle, described as a black Chevrolet Tahoe or similar type SUV with damage on the driver's side rear panel, is posted on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/o3ubwtk6aY4

The male victim, Krystofer Monroe Patterson, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The female victim, 19, was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Ferrell, L. Kauffman, K. Persad and A. Grimes reported: 

HPD officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Paterson lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased.  Officers then located Ms. Williams with a gunshot wound and paramedics transported her to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
