December 13, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 8110 Southwest Freeway (South U. S. Highway 59) service road about 2 a.m. on Sunday (December 12).  

The victim, 36, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives I. Rios-Hernandez and J. Cimeni reported:  

The victim and a male suspect got into an altercation in the parking lot of a night club at the above address.  The victim then walked over to the suspect's vehicle and the suspect shot her one time.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.  

The suspect is described only as a black male.
