August 23, 2021 - Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 700 West Tidwell Road about 9:55 p.m. on May 7 has died.

The identity of the victim, 62, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer S. Bouarar reported:

The victim was driving a white Dodge vehicle westbound at the above address when he failed to drive in a single lane of traffic and struck a tree.  Paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center in critical condition.

Last Friday (Aug. 20), investigators were advised the victim was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the crash.
