April 26, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8200 Sunbury Street about 2:40 a.m. on Saturday (April 24).

The identity of the victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Officer A. Dudley reported:

Witnesses stated the victim was at the above address when he was shot by a male suspect, 16, who fled the scene in a red, four-door sedan.  Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
