April 26, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 13905 Westheimer Road about 3:35 a.m. on Sunday (April 25).

The victim, Eddie Garrick, 33, was transported to an area hospital in critical, but stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives G. Black and A. Hernandez reported:

Mr. Garrick was leaving a business at the above address when an argument started across the street in a convenience store parking lot.  The argument escalated into gunfire as Garrick was going to get his car.  Multiple suspects fired shots at each other.  Garrick was struck one time in the face. 

The suspects, described only as three unidentified black males, fled the scene before officers arrived.  Paramedics transported Garrick to the hospital.
