April 19, 2021 - Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 1100 West Greens Road that occurred about 7:45 a.m. on April 10 has died.

The identity of the victim, 22, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and North Belt Patrol Division officers reported:

The victim was driving a gray Chevrolet Malibu westbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane, veered off the roadway and struck a tree.  Paramedics transported the driver to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest hospital in critical condition.  No other persons were or vehicles were involved in the crash.

Investigators were advised that doctors pronounced the victim deceased last Friday (April 15).

The investigation is continuing.
