October 22, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 501 Greens Road about 5:40 a.m. today.  

The victim, Travonne Irving, 22, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer L. Hicks reported:  

Mr. Irving was hanging out with a female at her apartment at the above address.  A second male came to the female's apartment and, when he saw Irving, fired multiple shots at him.  

Irving was shot several times before he jumped from the second floor balcony and fled in his vehicle.  Irving drove to a nearby gas station to call for help.  Paramedics responded to the scene and transported Irving to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest, arms and legs.
