October 22, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8040 South Loop East (South Interstatte Highway 610 East) that occurred about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday (October 21).  

The victim, Alejandro Ocanas, 25, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs and Officer E. Martinez reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Ocanas with multiple gunshot wounds inside his vehicle.  Paramedics transported Ocanas to the hospital.  Investigators believe the shooting may have occurred at another unknown location. 

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
