October 19, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 955 Federal Road about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday (October 18).  

The victim, Walter Fuertes, 43, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers G. Black and J. Roberts reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting outside a bar at the above address and found Mr. Fuertes lying in the middle of the parking lot.  He had sustained a gunshot wound to the back.  Paramedics transported Fuertes to the hospital.  

The suspect is described only as an unknown male driving in a black GMC Yukon.
