October 8, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a female that occurred at 1217 Uvalde Road about 5:30 a.m. today.  

The victim, 37, was transported to an area hospital where doctors expect her to survive her injuries.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant T. Ferraro and Detective A. Carroll reported:  

The victim and another female, 25, were inside their vehicle at a gas station at the above address when a suspect approached them in another vehicle and fired multiple shots.  The victim was struck in the face and the other female was not injured.  Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.  

Investigators believe the suspect is known to the two females.
