October 7, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3300 Chimira Lane about 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 6).

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Perez and S. Overstreet reported:

Patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the roadway at the above address and observed a male in the driver's seat of a vehicle in a ditch.  The man suffered an apparent gunshot wound.  Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no known witness or suspect(s) in the incident.
