October 6, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 14805 Grisby Road about 4 p.m. on Monday (October 5).

The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Smith and T. Hollohazy reported:

Officers responded to the victim's apartment after a friend made entry into the apartment and found the victim unresponsive.  The friend stated the last time he heard from the victim was on Saturday (Oct. 3) and since that time the victim had not answered phone calls.

The victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.  At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
