October 5, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 4725 Telephone Road about 6:10 a.m. on Saturday (October 3).

The victim, Ray Vazquez, 41, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective J. Russell reported:

Mr. Vazquez was at a nightclub entrance at the above address when a fight broke out in the parking lot.  He attempted to break up the fight and was approached by one of two Hispanic males.  The male produced a knife and stabbed Vazquez in the abdomen.  Both male suspects then fled in the scene in a white sedan.
