October 5, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1700 Maxine Street about 1:40 p.m. on Saturday (October 3).

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Clark and Officer C. Jones reported:

Witnesses found the victim unresponsive and lying on side of the road at the above address.  They then called 9-1-1.  HPD patrol officers responded and found injuries consistent with a hit-and-run crash.  Investigators believe the victim may have been at that location for more than a day.

There are no known witnesses to the crash nor suspect(s), at this time.
