November 24, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the apparent shooting of a man found at 401 Cartersville Road about 4:30 p.m. on Monday (November 23).

The victim, Shaun Lewis, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Smith and Detective D. Higgs reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased individual at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Lewis lying in a vacant field, possibly shot.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased.

There are no known suspects nor motive.
